Carbon Monoxide Detectors and House Battery

As we were recently leaving on a camping trip, we noticed the carbon monixide detector started beeping. We went through the books we had on our trailer trying to figure out the problem, when we thought we'd try turning our TV back on. The beeping stopped. When we stopped for gas, the beeping started up again. Could this have anything to do with the trailer battery? The carbon monoxide detector didn't beep when we were plugged into an outlet, only when we were getting ready to tow. We also had the refrigerator on propane mode, but if that were the problem, then the carbon monoxide detector wouldn't beep only when the TV wasn't on.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

18V Drill and Scissor Jacks

What are people using in their 18V drills to raise and lower their scissor jacks? I recently bought an 18V drill but not sure what I'm supposed to be using in the drill.
Thanks

Bees

We just returned from a fun weekend in our local mountains, but had an annoying problem with bees. These weren't your normal honey bees, but were smaller and attracted to human food, which made it difficult to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors while eating.
We're wondering if anyone had a suggestion to keeping these pests away?
Thanks

Keeping Sewer Hose Off The Ground

Just wondering what everyone uses to keep the sewer hose off the ground. We have one of those accordian type stands, but it didn't work to well this weekend on uneven terrain, and we're looking for something more stable.
Thanks!

2001 Fleetwood Terry 250RKS

We're going to look at a used 2001 Fleetwood Terry 250RKS, Northwest Edition. I can't find this one on the NADA guide so would like some input as to what a fair price would be. They're asking 8600.00.
It has: New awning, outside shower, new tires, 2 new batteries, 2 30lb propane tanks, complete hitch and sway bar package, surround sound, c/d am/fm radio, a/c, fridge/freezer, complete kitchen with micr, stove, oven, dinnette. Sleeps six, with a slide out, sofa sleeper, bathroom shower, with separate sink, walk around queen bed and he says it's in showroom condition. Also has a lifetime registration. I spoke with him on the phone and the reason he's selling it is they want to buy a motorhome, and his TV is just too small. It weighs about 4500 lbs empty and 5500 lbs full. My TV is an '07 Titan so that's not a concern. It has 2 entrances and the rear kitchen is the style my wife likes.
What do you all think would be a fair price to offer him if we like it?
Thanks

Wanted: 25'-27' w slide-less than 15K

Are there any new travel trailers out there that meet this criteria?
We want a 25-27' trailer, with a slide, decent quality and workmanship, and realistically cost less than 15K out the door? We'd like either a rear kitchen or rear living area, and don't need bunks because it's mostly my wife and I and our 3 dogs. We want to keep the GVWR 7500lbs or less. We'd prefer new so we're not inheiriting someone else's problem, but that's not set in stone either. I see quite a few adds in our local RV trader for Summit's by Thor(?) and Coachmen Spirit of America, but last time I looked at Coachmen they seemed a little lacking in quality. i.e. flimsy drawers, and slides etc.
We'd be towing with a Titan Crew Cab, with big tow package rated up to 9400lbs.
We know you can take approx 25-30% off of MSRP, but from what we've seen there aren't many out there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Used Travel Trailers and After Market Warranties

Was just thinking, I know, I know, what's the occasion, about used travel trailers being purchased from private parties and if someone could purchase a warranty directly from a company?
I know with cars and trucks you can buy a warranty usually up to the point where the mfr warranty runs out. But what about travel trailers? You could shop around, get a good deal on a trailer, and get some peace of mind with a warranty.
I know alot of folks say warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on, and to save your money and set it aside for repairs.
But, I'm sure warranties must offer something or they wouldn't be allowed to sell them, right?
Just wondering if anyone has done this and what their experiences were with after market warranties.
Thanks
